Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know any Korean to start?

No. The A1 course starts from your first words, and the teacher explains in the language you speak while the phrases you learn are in Korean. The app works in 12 languages, and the teacher can explain in any of them.

Where does the Korean course start?

The Korean course begins with Hangul, the Korean alphabet: the vowels, the consonants and how letters build syllables. Its first module is “한글”, with the lessons “안녕하세요! 모음”, “자음과 글자 모양”, “가, 카, 까”, “받침과 인사”.

How long are the lessons?

Lessons take 15 minutes at every level. The course has 292 lessons in 73 modules across six levels. Time alone completes nothing: a lesson is done when you have done its steps.

I already know some Korean. Can I skip ahead?

Yes. Take the level check, about 10 to 15 minutes with your teacher, or choose your level yourself. You can change it later; your place in the old course and your words are kept.

Can I practise speaking Korean?

Yes. Lessons are spoken by default, and Situations and Free talk let you hold real conversations in Korean. The teacher helps with your pronunciation at your level and never treats your accent as a mistake. You can always type instead.

How much does it cost to learn Korean?
