Email info@radext.com. It helps to tell us which device you use (iPhone, Android, or web) and the email address you sign in with. Please never send us a password or card number.

Plans and the free week

RadLinguist has three monthly plans: Tools (US$9.99 a month), Classroom (US$19.99) and Classroom Plus (US$29.99). Each includes the tools, the teacher's lessons, practice, and the level check; they differ in how many minutes of live voice they include each month (30, 180 and 300). The price you pay is shown in your local currency before you confirm. The first plan you buy starts with 7 days free; unless you cancel before it ends, it renews into the paid plan on day 8. The Terms of Service (section 6) have the full details.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Cancel in the storefront you subscribed through. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. For App Store and Google Play subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.

Settings › Plan in RadLinguist shows where your subscription was bought. A subscription can only be changed or cancelled in the storefront it was bought in. For refunds of App Store or Google Play purchases, ask Apple or Google; for a web purchase, write to info@radext.com.

Restore purchases

A subscription belongs to your RadLinguist account and works on every platform — sign in with the same account on each device. After reinstalling the app or moving to a new device, sign in and use Settings › Plan › Restore purchases. If the app says the subscription belongs to a different RadLinguist account, sign in with that account instead.

Delete your account

In the app: Settings › Account › Delete my account. On the web: www.radlinguist.app/settings/account. Deleting your account cancels a web subscription at once, but not an App Store or Google Play one — cancel that in the store first. The account deletion page has step-by-step instructions, the email route if you cannot sign in, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.

Common questions

Is the teacher a person?

No. RadLinguist's teacher is an AI, and the app says so. Its replies can be wrong; if one looks wrong or inappropriate, press and hold the reply and choose Report (on the web, tap Report beside it). Our team reviews reports.

Do I have to agree to share data with OpenAI?

Yes. RadLinguist's teacher, tools and level check run on OpenAI, so the app asks you to agree that what you write, say and show, with your learning details, is sent to OpenAI before you start. If you choose Not now, or later withdraw in Settings › Privacy & data › Share data with OpenAI, the app stays on the screen that asks for your agreement. From there you can still sign out, delete your account, and open Privacy & data — your analytics and ad-measurement choices, Download my data, and the policies — and, on the web, manage a subscription bought there. Withdrawing deletes nothing already saved and does not cancel a subscription; cancel it where you bought it (see above). For anything else, write to info@radext.com.

Which languages can I learn?

The teacher teaches English, French, Spanish and Japanese. The app itself works in 12 languages.

What are live voice minutes?

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of live voice: 30 minutes on Tools, 180 on Classroom and 300 on Classroom Plus. Minutes are counted while a live voice session with the teacher is open, and in Translate's Live Conversation. The quick tools — translate, check, alternatives and polish — never use minutes, whether you type or speak. The allowance starts again at the beginning of each calendar month (UTC). If you use it up on Tools or Classroom, you can move to a bigger plan; on any plan, your minutes come back when the next month begins.

Do I have to use my voice?

No. Everything except Translate's Live Conversation works with typing, and speech analysis is optional — you can turn it off in Settings › Speech.
